Step-by-step setup
Find the MAC address
It is printed on the label underneath the box and shown under Settings, About device. On a MAG it starts 00:1A:79. Send it to us on WhatsApp and wait for confirmation before going further.
MAG: enter the portal URL
Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Give Portal 1 any name, paste the portal address we sent, save, and restart the box. It will not work before that restart.
Formuler: use MyTVOnline
Open MyTVOnline 2 or 3 and choose Add Portal, supplying a name and the portal address. Alternatively pick Xtream Codes and use the standard login. Formuler will also run Android players such as TiViMate if you prefer.
Watch
After the restart the box loads the 25,000+ channels with the built-in guide. Use the remote colour buttons for favourites and the EPG.
Common errors and fixes
Portal shows "STB blocked" or a blank screen
Either the MAC has not been activated yet, or a character was wrong when it was sent. Photograph the label and send the picture rather than retyping it; that resolves it within minutes in almost every case.

On a main television used daily, yes: a better remote, a quicker guide, and nothing to sideload ever. It costs $120 to $180 against $30 to $50 for a stick. On a bedroom set the stick is better value and nobody will notice.
